Don't expect an open world like GTA, or mind blowing graphics in WOTS3. If you've played the previous ones on the PS2 you know what to expect. The different areas you can travel on the map aren't that big, and there are up to 25 different endings depending where you go and how you to talk to the NPCS. It doesn't take that long to get to one of the many endings (2 hours or so), but I enjoy that fact that what ever you do affects the characters around you. There are side missions/jobs that are okay, and you can also get people to join you and fall in love with. I think the NPC companions are pretty useless, and I have yet to figure out how to fall in love with someone in the game.
You can also learn different fighting skills, and build different weapons from scratch. You don't make that much money from jobs, so if you take out certain NPCS in the game you can get more cash. It seems messed up, but the good thing though is that it won't affect you final rating at the end of a game.
This game should bore me to death with its weak storyline, PS2 graphics, and mediocre fighting engine, but it doesn't for some odd reason.

Just out of curiosity, what model is your character in the bottom screenshot? Is it an NPC, or a costume from WotS3 PLUS or DLC?
Playable character. You can unlock the costume.
